Operating the Jackfruit



Many people love jackfruits. However, the local here knows that there are generally 2 types of jackfruit, called the nangka and cempedak. Both are jackfruitz but the flesh and size are different, not to mention the taste! In fact, the way to cut the fruit is also different.

Here, I am going to show the usual (proper) way to cut the cempedak.

1) Oil your knife. (Because the skin is sticky)

2) Cut the fruit vertically.

3) Tear the skin of the fruit. 

4) Lift the jewels by holding up the stick.
